Authentic Tzatziki is made with really delicious and dense Greek yogurt. How can you have Tzatziki without dairy? Using the combination of plain coconut yogurt and coconut cream cheese will give you the delicious taste and texture you would expect.
Ingredients:
1 C Plain Coconut Yogurt*
1/2 C Plain Coconut Cream Cheese**
1 Tbs Fresh Dill
1 lemon - Zest and juice
1 Clove of Garlic
Sea salt and pepper to taste
1 English Cucumber
Smoked salmon
1 Tbs of Extra Virgin Olive Oil
Directions:
1. Place first 6 ingredients in a blender until desired consistency.
2. Slice the cucumber and top it with tzatziki sauce (Note: authentic tzatziki has cucumber in the sauce)
